INDOOR CLIMBING CANADA
We were here 12 march 2019
A small gym with a couple of boulder walls. The top rope routes were just 2 or 3 meters longer and not really worth the name. Our favorite score factors in that the gym is quite expensive for its limited size, closeby the only parking lot has hourly parking at a steep rate and the slightly cheaper parking lot is at a 15-minute walk. Basically, if you have any other option, don’t bother coming here.
There is no free parking around! We parked, here, 15 minutes away and still paid $5 for a few hours, but this was the best deal around.
Price: 18 CAD
Tension Climbing Board
Monday-Friday: 7 AM – 10 PM
Saturday & Sunday 8 Am - 8 PM
Statutory Holidays 8 AM – 8 PM
This gym is mostly focused on boulder routes, which were a lot of fun. We actually managed to climb our own level here and there was a lot of variety in the climbs. The autobelays and top rope give access to a bit higher walls, but there’s not much height to be gained.
A few showers, Water refills, Fitness area, Training wall

We got very lucky here and arrived at an open door climbing session which was free. This was taking into account when we gave our favorite score, because freebies are the best! The gym itself is not really that great. The boulders were not graded and the top rope routes were impossibly hard and illogical. You have to show your belaying skills in a test if you want to top rope, but you can start bouldering as a nubie.
Normally, 8.25 USD for the full facility
Toprope (only about 7 meters)
The rating here is completely off. Both not consistent with any rating we ever encountered and not really consistent within this small gym either. This is a good example of a small local climbing gym where you can just come hang out with your friends and have fun. Which is why we started climbing in the first place!
The wall is located inside the recreational centre, you can use both the pool and climbing wall in one session.
